I’m Peggy Finnegan, owner of BodyBloom™ At Home Massage & Reflexology. I’m a licensed massage therapist, certified reflexologist & Lake Frederick neighbor.

Client supplies massage table & sheets. Extremely soothing Swedish-inspired relaxation massage with extra focus on 1-2 areas, as time allows. A variety of techniques are used to alleviate stress & tension held throughout the body and restore an overall sense of well being. Finish feeling refreshed & unburdened.
Request light, medium or firmer pressure, Client provides massage table & sheets. It’s very important to find the right therapist for your specific needs, so please note that I do not offer deep tissue massage, nor do I treat injuries or chronic pain.
Massage is a proactive, preventative tool for maintaining personal wellness and the healthy effects are cumulative. At Home Foot Reflexology

No massage table or special equipment required. Primarily a stress reduction technique, reflexology is non-invasive, deeply relaxing and beneficial for all. Unique manual techniques deliver rhythmic, alternating pressure to reflex areas on the feet, tapping into complex neural pathways which connect the body systems. Patterns of tension are interrupted, allowing your body’s own healing wisdom to emerge.
Benefits reported by clients include stress reduction, improved body function, increased energy, better sleep. You remain fully clothed except for your feet. No need for a massage table, you simply lie on a bed or settle into a comfy chair with your feet up. Available as a full one hour service or as a customized Massage & Reflexology Combo (combo requires massage table).

- Payment: I accept cash, check, credit card, or Venmo. I do not accept insurance.
- Scheduling: I mostly book Lake Frederick appointments on Sundays & Mondays (am or pm) when my Middleburg studio is closed.
- Pets: I love animals so having your pets around while I’m there is never a problem.
The Table Club™
Enjoy deeply relaxing, customized massage as often as you’d like in the comfort & convenience of your own home. Just provide a sturdy, adjustable massage table with a set of sheets and have it all set up in the room of your choice when I arrive. I’ll bring the oil, bolster, music, etc. After a brief consultation, your massage will begin. Afterwards, you may relax or doze on your cozy table and I’ll let myself out.
To show my appreciation for your future business and to help offset the cost of buying a table, your first one hour in-home massage will be complimentary (one per table). Keep in mind, I also work at my private studio in Middleburg, VA so you may come there to try out my massage style before investing in a table.

Table Club™ Shopping Guide
Tables, Sheets & Accessories Your portable massage table may be ordered online and delivered to your door. Prices ranges $100 to $450 depending on quality & features. Tables weigh about 35lbs and fold in half for storage. Although easy to set up & break down, if you happen to have the space to leave it out that’s even better. Your table must be safe & sturdy with the standard adjustable height legs and a removable face rest. You’ll want a designated set of sheets just for massage use as the oil can sometimes leave faint stains. You can purchase “massage sheets” online, but standard twin sized sheets are a similar size and they’ll work fine.
When I come to your house I’ll bring along a bolster to place under your knees & ankles or you may want to order your own. For cooler months, you might enjoy an electric massage table warmer which lays under the bottom sheet and makes the whole experience extra cozy. Remember, when the massage is over you can stay relaxing on your table while I let myself out.
Choosing a Table After extensive comparison shopping, I found what I think are three very reasonable choices of basic portable tables at various price points (listed below.) However, if you have a special requirement such as needing a table with a back that tilts upward, then that will take a bit more research. I have no affiliation with any of these companies, but as a massage professional I’ve worked on and owned lots of styles, sizes & brands of tables and have a sense for which companies offer a good value & helpful customer service.
Option #1 for $100
You’ll find a huge selection of very basic massage tables for about $100 on Amazon, Overstock, etc. Most are 25-28″ wide with 1.5″ – 2.0″ of cushioning. A decent budget-friendly choice for many people, especially petite to average sized women or men with small frames. Others may find these tables too firm or too narrow for comfort especially when it comes time for flipping over. I have zero personal experience with these sellers so I will not personally recommend any specific table or seller. I just encourage you to carefully read the fine print in regards to A) shipping charges B) warranty C) if it has a removable head rest or just a “face hole” and D) the specific width measurement. Trust me, you do NOT want a table less than 28″ wide!
Option #2 for $225
You can order a higher quality basic table called the “Inner Strength Element” on a website called BuyMassageTables.com. This is from a respected brand and a reputable online seller with good customer service. This table is 30″ wide with 2.5″ of cushioning. For reference, my own travel table is also 30″ wide with 2.5″ padding. In my opinion, Option#2 is a solid choice for most people.
Option #3 for $450
If you’d like a more deluxe table, consider the “Earthlite Spirit” sold on BuyMassageTables.com. With 3″ of cushioning and a 32″ width option, this is especially nice for those with larger frames. This choice provides some extra elbow room, easier flipping over and additional padding under the body. This added goodness does add a couple pounds to the tables weight. Head rest must be ordered from the drop down option menu but I’ve included that in the $450 price. Earthlite is considered a top brand for quality & value.
